BJP chief Nitin Nabin's new team of general secretaries to hold first meeting today

BJP chief Nitin Nabin's new team of general secretaries to hold first meeting today

New Delhi [India], August 27 (ANI): The newly constituted team of General Secretaries of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under the leadership of National President Nitin Nabin, will hold its first meeting on Thursday afternoon at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
The meeting, likely to be held at 2 pm, will mark the first formal interaction of the newly appointed General Secretaries as a team following the announcement of Nitin Nabin's new organisational team. The meeting is expected to focus on strengthening the party organisation, improving coordination among various organisational units, and outlining priorities for the coming months.
A key focus of the meeting is likely to be the BJP's nationwide Modi@25 campaign, being organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's completion of 25 years in public life. The party is preparing a series of programmes and outreach activities across the country as part of the celebrations.
The General Secretaries are expected to discuss preparations and the organisational roadmap for the Modi@25 programmes, including coordination with state and district units to ensure their effective implementation across the country.
Apart from Modi@25, the meeting is likely to deliberate on upcoming organisational programmes, ongoing party activities, strengthening grassroots-level structures and improving coordination between the BJP's central leadership and state units.
The first meeting of the new team is significant as it will help set organisational priorities and establish the working framework for the newly appointed General Secretaries under Nitin Nabin's leadership.
Earlier, on August 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the BJP's newly appointed national office-bearers team led by BJP national president Nabin.
According to a source, the Prime Minister advised the office-bearers to stay connected with people and work towards further strengthening the organisation.
The meeting, held at the BJP headquarters on Saturday, lasted for over five hours and marked the first interaction between PM Modi and the new national office-bearers after the party's organisational overhaul. All BJP national office-bearers introduced themselves and shared their thoughts and work experience with the Prime Minister. (ANI)
