Tadepalli (Andhra Pradesh), [India], September 22 (ANI): YSRCP spokesperson Yanamala Nagarjuna Yadav demanded that Education Minister Nara Lokesh answer the questions raised by unemployed youth and prove his honesty by resigning and facing a CBI investigation into the alleged DSC irregularities.
Speaking at the YSRCP central office, he said the government was frightened by the growing protest by Gen Z youth, students and job aspirants. He alleged that groups posing as sports-quota candidates attacked YSRCP leaders and workers near the SAAP office in Vijayawada in the presence of the police.
Nagarjuna Yadav said doubts had surfaced at every stage of the recruitment process, including the alleged question-paper leak, merit list, sports-quota selections, call letters and final appointments. If the government believed that the recruitment was transparent, it should not fear an independent CBI inquiry, he said.
He demanded an impartial investigation into the violence near the SAAP office to identify the attackers and those responsible for sending them.
He clarified that YSRCP respected the teaching profession but would question those who acted politically under the guise of teachers.
“Cases, arrests and detentions cannot silence unemployed youth. Lokesh must stop diverting the issue and give clear answers,” he said.
Nagarjuna Yadav asserted that YSRCP would continue its democratic struggle until a CBI inquiry revealed the truth and justice was delivered to deserving job aspirants. (ANI)
