Priyank Bhadoriya, hailing from Delhi and who joined CISF in 2025, competed in the Under-21 Men's -67 kg category. He reached the final after wins over Oman, Tajikistan and Macao, before settling for the Silver Medal following a loss to Saudi Arabia in the gold medal bout.

The championship, organised by the Asian Karate Federation, brought together young karatekas from across Asia competing in the Cadet, Junior and Under-21 age categories in Kumite and Kata events.
CISF, which maintains 60 Central Sports Teams across diverse disciplines, has consistently encouraged its sportspersons to compete on national and international platforms. The Force congratulates Priyank Bhadoriya and Anshika Bhardwaj on their achievement at the continental championship.
Meanwhile, BSF woman constable Kalyani Vishwakarma scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman to secure a silver medal at the prestigious Senior Asian Karate Championships, the Border Security Force said on Saturday.

"Competing in the Kumite +68 kg category, Kalyani clinched the Silver Medal for India by securing a place in the finals as the first Indian woman. Her remarkable achievement is a proud moment for the entire Seema Prahari Pariwar and the nation," the BSF said.
