Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 30 (ANI): The much-awaited trailer of Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Eetha' has been unveiled, bringing an epic musical drama inspired by the life of a Lavani legend.
The film brings to life the extraordinary journey of a woman who defied conventions, challenged the odds and rose above every obstacle to carve an unforgettable place in history, the makers said, as per a press release.
The trailer takes audiences into the vibrant, larger-than-life world of Eetha Bai, where ambition meets adversity, passion becomes power, and every performance tells a story of courage and conviction.
Driven by striking visuals, evocative music and powerful emotions, the film promises a cinematic spectacle that celebrates the spirit of an extraordinary artist whose legacy transcends generations.
Speaking about the film, Dinesh Vijan, Producer, Maddock Films, said, “One of the most exciting things about cinema is that every once in a while, you come across a story so extraordinary that you wonder why the world doesn’t already know about it. For me, Eetha was one of those stories. When I first heard it, I was fascinated not just by the incredible world of Lavani — its music, its rhythm, its energy and its larger-than-life characters — but by the extraordinary women who brought this art form to life," the press release added.
Shraddha Kapoor, who plays Eetha Bai in the film, added, “It’s a story about a woman whose art, courage and individuality make her unforgettable. The more Laxman sir told me about the character, the more I felt connected to her world. Playing this role has been an incredibly exciting experience, and I am thrilled for audiences to discover her journey on the big screen.”
Director Laxman Utekar said, “After the blockbuster success of Chhaava, which became a mega cinematic spectacle, I wanted to take audiences into a completely different world with Eetha. It is the story of an artist who became a legacy.”
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar, 'Eetha' is presented by Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations.
'Eetha' is set to hit theatres on December 4, 2026. (ANI)
