New Delhi [India], September 29 (ANI): The teaser of 'Dhood' (Sandstorm) has been released, marking what the makers describe as the first Rajasthani film to embark on a pan-India theatrical journey.
Written and directed by Anand Singh Chouhan, the film is set to release nationwide on October 23, 2026.
Set against the cultural backdrop of Rajasthan in the early 1990s, 'Dhood' explores themes of greed, power, family lineage and desperation.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the teaser release on social media, writing, “RAJASTHANI FILM ‘DHOOD’ TEASER OUT NOW – 23 OCT 2026 RELEASE... The first #Rajasthani film to embark on a PAN-India theatrical journey, the teaser of #Dhood [Sandstorm] is out now.”
The film features an ensemble cast comprising Yashpal Sharma, Alka Amin, Bhawani Singh Chauhan, Vivek Pareek, Praveen Choudhary and Vanikki Tyagi. Mehul Surti has composed the music.
'Dhood' is presented by Kalam Academy and Samar Jain and is produced by Soul Of Desert in association with Studio Ainak.
Miraj Cinema will distribute the film nationwide.
With its PAN-India theatrical release, 'Dhood' is positioned to take a Rajasthani-language film to cinemas across the country on October 23. (ANI)
